What Tasman is missing most

Tasman tracks the national picture closely, with no signal more than two points off the country as a whole. In absolute terms the thinnest signal is a link to a social profile, which only 46.9% of sites here carry. None of this is hard to fix. These are facts the business already knows and has simply never put on the page in a form a machine can read.

Trades in Tasman

Tasman has only one trade with enough measured sites to report on its own: trades and services, at 65.2% findable across 92 sites. Everything else here is below our reporting threshold of 60 sites, so we are not going to publish numbers for it.

Towns in Tasman

Only one Tasman town clears our 150-business reporting threshold: Motueka, at 62.1% findable across 227 businesses. The rest of the region is measured, but no other single town has enough businesses with a website for a number worth printing.

Method

Every business on the New Zealand companies register is in our database, from the September 2026 NZBN snapshot. Where the register records a website we fetch it and look for four facts in the page itself: a description, a dialable phone number, a logo and a link to a social profile. Three of four is the pass mark. We count nothing List-It has added or generated. A site that does not resolve scores zero and counts as not findable.
