What the West Coast is missing most

The clearest weakness here is a plain description of what the business does, on 47.4% of West Coast sites against 55.8% nationally, which is 8.4 points below the rest of the country. In absolute terms the thinnest signal is a link to a social profile, which only 43.7% of sites here carry. None of this is hard to fix. These are facts the business already knows and has simply never put on the page in a form a machine can read.

Method

Every business on the New Zealand companies register is in our database, from the September 2026 NZBN snapshot. Where the register records a website we fetch it and look for four facts in the page itself: a description, a dialable phone number, a logo and a link to a social profile. Three of four is the pass mark. We count nothing List-It has added or generated. A site that does not resolve scores zero and counts as not findable.
