Acceptable Use Policy
This policy applies to everything you do on List-It: listings, profiles, reviews, events, and especially messages between users. It forms part of our Terms of Service. Breaches can mean content removal, account suspension, IP blocking, and where serious, reporting to authorities.
Last updated: 20 September 2026.
You must not

- Post content that breaches the Harmful Digital Communications Act 2015, e.g. content that's threatening, grossly offensive, or intended to cause serious emotional distress, or that discloses private/intimate material.
- Advertise or promote prohibited or illegal goods or services.
Messaging specifically
Messages are private between users but are stored and may be auto-moderated for scams, abuse and prohibited content. Links are stripped. Don't use messaging to harass, spam, or defraud. You can report and block any user.
Reporting & enforcement
Use the Report button or email info@list-it.nz. We review reports and may remove content, warn, suspend, block (including by IP), or refer matters to NZ Police, Netsafe, or other authorities. We may act without prior notice where needed to protect people. We cooperate with lawful requests from authorities.
Netsafe
For serious harmful digital communications, you can also contact Netsafe (netsafe.org.nz), the approved agency under the Harmful Digital Communications Act.
